Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

The last Will and testament of Duncan McKinnon late of Sunny Brae, County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia.

I Duncan McKinnon being of sound mind and memory on taking into consideration the uncertainty of time, Do make and declare this my last Will and Testament.

1St. I will and bequeath unto Corea E. McKinnon my Daughter the one half of he Farm on which now reside, that is the Lower half or North west of the Farm.

2nd. I will and bequeath unto Annie my wife the other half of the Farm from the Front to rear, that is the South East, or the upper half of the Farm on which I now reside.

I also bequeath unto Annie my wife all the Buildings including House and Barns, and all the out buildings, Also all the household furniture and all the Bed clothes, Also all the cows, horses, young cattle, sheep and farming utensils.

I also wish my wife Annie to give the use of the Front Room, upper stairs, to Tina McKinnon, my Daughter, also that Tina my Daughter is to have a home with her as long as she remains Single.

I nominate and appoint Alex. McDonald Roy, and James McDonald, Lake, my Executors to see that this my last Will and Testament, executed according to the true intention thereof.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan McKinnon, late of Sunny Brae in the County of Pictou, Blacksmith, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 14th. day of February A.D. 1899.
