Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Donald McKinnon of Bailey’s Brook County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Dominion of Canada, Farmer, do make and declare this my Last Will and Testament.

I devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary all my landed property comprising of one hundred acres being part of the farm whereupon I presently reside t have and to hold the same without hindrance during the term of her natural life with the free right privilege and authority to sell convey and dispose of the same to my beloved nephew John McKinnon at present of Wisconsin in the United States of America or to any other person and in whatever manner and at whatever time she may deem the same proper and necessary for her own maintenance,

I also order and direct that all my legal debts and funeral expenses shall be paid out of my personal property, and any cattle stock or surplus of my personal property remaining after paying the same I devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary.

I do hereby revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me made and declare the above to be my last Will and Testament.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto my hand and Seal subscribed and set this nineteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Donald McKinnon late of Bailey’s Brook in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 29th. day of March AD 1904.
