Will of John McKeagon, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last will and testament of me John McKeagon of Westville in the County of Pictou, Grocer.

I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made.

I appoint Robert A. McDonald of Westville in the County of Pictou and Ernest Boehk of said Westville to be my executors respectively of this my Will.

I will and direct that my said executors shall first pay all my just debts and funeral expenses and shall erect a Suitable headstone to my Memory.

I give and devise to my daughter Mrs. Myra Sturtevant, wife of A.T. Sturtevant of Whitman, Massachusetts U.S.A. the sum of one hundred Dollars.

I give and devise to my brother John McKeagon of Sydney Mines Nova Scotia Twenty Dollars.

I will to my wife Mary Ann McKeagon all my real estate for her use and benefit during her lifetime.

I will to my daughter Christina Foster a right to make her home with my wife Mary Ann McKeagon in and on my real Estate during my said daughter’s lifetime.

I will all the residue of my personal property to my wife Mary Ann McKeagon and my said daughter Mrs. Christina Foster. Share and Share alike.

I will that Daniel Foster nor any other men shall not have any right to any part of my property nor to have any claim or live in or upon any part of my property at any time hereafter.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of September one thousand nine hundred and eight.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of John McKeagon late of Westville in the County of Pictou Grocer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 8th. day of June AD 1909.
