Estate of Duncan McKenzie late of Churchville, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

Know all men by these presents that I, Duncan McKenzie of Churchville, in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and testament. And by this do cancel all former wills and testaments.

First. I give and bequeath to Peter McPhie my son in law all my real property with all the buildings and privileges thereto belonging for is benefit and behoof forever.

Second. I give and bequeath to Peter McPhie my son in law all my personal property such as promissory notes that is now in Angus McMillan’s hands.

Thirdly. I also constitute and appoint William McMillan of Churchville and peter McPhie of Springville Executor to this last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I the said Duncan McKenzie do to these presents Set my hand and Seal and publish and declare this to be m last Will and Testament this tenth day of January in the year A.D. One thousand eight hundred and eighty three.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan McKenzie late of Churchville in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 17th. day of March A.D. 1886.
