Estate of Alexander McKenzie late of New Glasgow, Tailor, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
This is the last Will and testament of me Alexander McKenzie of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, & Province of Nova Scotia, Tailor.
First. I grant, give, devise and bequeath to Margaret McKenzie my wife all my real estate and personal property for her use during the terms of her natural life, and I hereby authorize and empower my executors to sell dispose of the whole or nay part of my real estate or personal property in any manner they may consider advisable, the proceeds of such Sale to be placed at the disposal of m said wife for her support and maintenance during her lifetime, as aforesaid.
Second. I grant, give, devise and bequeath to my adopted children now living with me, to wit, to Williamenia McLean and Anna McKenzie, in equal shares all my real and personal property and the proceeds thereof remaining and existing at the death of my said wife, the whole of the said remaining and existing property “to become the property of the survivor of them the said Williamenia McLean and Anna McKenzie. Should either o them die without any children before the demise of my said wife.
Third. I hereby name, authorize and appoint my wife Margaret McKenzie and William Fraser, Postmaster and George Douglas, Merchant, all of New Glasgow aforesaid to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have to this my last Will and testament Subscribed my hand and Set my Seal this tenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty five.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander McKenzie late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, Tailor, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 25th. day of September A.D. 1894.
