Will of Alex S McKenzie, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
I Alexander S. MacKenzie of new Glasgow in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Teacher, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament.
1st. I direct all my honest debts be paid my executors out of money secured by life insurance in the Oddfellows Relief Association or from the sale of personal property.
2nd. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Mary A McKenzie all the remainder and residue of my personal property (after my honest debts have been paid) including the life insurance.
3rd. I give devise and bequeath to my said wife all my real estate consisting of house and land situate in the Town of New Glasgow aforesaid together with all real estate and personal property of which I may die possessed.
4th. I also direct that my three children if living shall each receive one dollar ($1.00) of the lawful money of the Dominion of Canada their names being as follows Mrs. Florence M. Ross, Mulgrave, N.S., James K. McKenzie supposed to be in the United States, John William McKenzie at present working in this town.
5th. I hereby appoint my wife Mary A. McKenzie executrix and George A. Douglass Merchant of this Town as my executor of this my last Will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal at New Glasgow Nova Scotia this fifth day of February in the year of lour Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

McKenzie late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Teacher deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 15th. day of March AD 1910.
