Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
This is the last Will and Testament of John McKenzie, Alex’s son Farmer of Elgin, Pictou County, N.S.
I commend my Soul to Almighty God in humble but firm Trust of the resurrection through Jesus from Christ my Lord.
I give and bequeath the whole of my property land house Stock and all that I possess to my wife commending to her loving care our children.
In the event of a second marriage the property which I bequeathed to her shall become the possession of our children share and share alike or if she has sold the property shall refund to them the amount received for it- except that which she has used for the sustenance of herself and her children upon the second marriage.
I commend my children to the good Providence of Almighty God hereby trusting that he will prove a father to them and an wellbeing friend.
