Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

In the name of God, Amen.

I Hugh Walker of Avondale in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Yeoman, being of perfect mind and memory do make ordain and publish this my last Will and Testament in the manner following,

First that my beloved wife Catherine be maintained and supported in a descent and comfortable manner also that she get Twenty five Dollars a year during her life.

Next that my son Hugh Albert get one hundred Dollars, and to my son Archibald I order and bequeath all my real and personal estate of whatever kind I may be possessed at my decease, but under covenant and subject to pay all legacies and bequests that this my will may contain.

I leave and bequeath to him and his heirs forever, the bequests and legacies above named and my will which I hope my executors will see fulfilled. Trusting and considering the integrity and good office of my friends Hugh F. McDonald, J W McPhee and my son Archibald I do nominate and appoint these my Sole executors of this my last Will and Testament.

All former wills I disallow revoke and disannul then ratifying and confirming this my last will and Testament and no other.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this third day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Hugh Walker late of Avondale in the County of Pictou Yeoman deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 22nd. day of July AD 1903.
