Estate of Archibald George Walker late of McLellan's Brook, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I, Archibald George Walker of McLellan's Brook, in the County of Pictou, farmer, do hereby declare this my last Will and Testament.
I authorize my executor hereinafter named shall to pay all my just debts and funeral and other expenses attendant upon the settlement of my estate.
I give devise and bequeath the farm on which I now reside at said McLellan's Brook consisting of about One hundred and twenty eight Acres more or less together with all the houses, buildings and appurtenances thereto belonging to my adopted son Frederick J. Walker and his heirs forever provided that of the said Frederick J. walker should die leaving no issue then the said farm with the appurtenances I do devise and bequeath and direct that the same shall revert to my daughters Johnina Elizabeth Walker and Bella Jane Walker and Margaret Glendenning and their heirs, share and share alike.
I give devise and bequeath to my said adopted son Frederick J. Walker all the live stock, farming utensils, and other personal property not herein otherwise specially mentioned reserving there out any thirds or dower to which my wife Jessie Walker would be by law entitles and I do hereby further will and direct that my said daughters Johnina Elizabeth and Bella Jane shall have the right to live in the dwelling house on the farm hereby devised and have a home there for the term of their natural lives or as long as they remain single. (See attention clause written in the margin by this part of the paragraph.)
I give devise and bequeath to my nephew John George Walker of Stellarton one acre of land situate at Plymouth Pictou County so called, and conveyed t me by deed of John Walker my father dated April 1st. A.D. 1845. to have and to hold the same to him the said John George Walker his heirs and assigns forever.
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Jessie Walker all the household furniture and personal effects contained in my house at the time of my decease.
I give devise and bequeath to my said wife Jessie Walker, and each of my said daughters Johnina Elizabeth Walker and Bella Jane Walker and Margaret Glendenning two hundred and fifty dollars, which said several sums of two hundred and fifty dollars to each, I direct my executor to pay out of the funds that may b in his hands to them as soon after my death as convenient.
I give devise and bequeath in addito9n to the above mentioned bequests to my said wife Jessie Walker all the dower and thirds in or out of both my real and personal property to which by law she may be entitled excepting her dower in the acre of land devised to my nephew John George Walker.
Any residue of my Estate not herein specially devised I give devise and bequeath to my adopted (word daughter scratched out) son Frederick J. Walker.
I do hereby appoint John H. Sinclair of New Glasgow, Barrister, the sole executor of this my last Will, at the same time revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
In witness whereof I the said Archibald George Walker the testator have to this my last Will Subscribed my hand and affixed my Seal, this first day of February A.D. 1890.

Signed by the said testator as his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us present at the same time, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. The words "live" having been first interlined on the first page also the words "Johnina Elizabeth and Bella Jane shall have the right to live in the dwelling house on the farm hereby devised and have a home there for the term of their natural lives or as long as they remain single, " on same page.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Archibald George Walker late of McLellan's Brook in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 7th. day of May A.D. 1890.
