Will of Daniel Thomson, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

I Daniel Thomson of Glengarry Station Pictou County Nova Scotia, being of sound disposing mind and memory doth make this my Last Will and Testament.

As to my worldly property real and personal of which I now own seized and possession I give devise and bequeath in the following manner to wit -

1st. I give devise and bequeath to my son Daniel Henry Thomson all my real property which I now own.

2nd. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Marjory Thomson three cows six sheep.

3rd. I give devise and bequeath to my son Daniel Thomson all the remaining livestock with the farming implements carts waggons, re.

4th. The conditions of this will is that the said Daniel Henry Thomson will provide the necessaries of life and a home for all his sisters brothers until they are able to have a home for themselves, and also the following proviso must be considered that the said Daniel H Thomson cannot sell or convey any of the real property until he pays my wife Marjory Thomson the sum of six hundred Dollars.

Lastly I appoint Daniel P. Robertson and John Cameron to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Daniel Thomson late of Glengarry Station in the County of Pictou Customs Officer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the sixth day of December AD 1904.

Witness my hand at Pictou this 6th. day of December AD 1904.
