Estate of John Thompson late of Pictou, Cordwainer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

I, John Thompson of Pictou ,in the County of Pictou, Cordwainer, do hereby make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament.

First, I will devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Thompson al my real and personal Estate of every nature and kind whatsoever and wheresoever situated to and for her Sole use during her natural life.

Second, I will devise and bequeath jointly to my sons John Thompson Junior Charles Thompson and James Thompson all my Real and personal Estate of every nature and kind whatsoever and wheresoever situated subject nevertheless to the aforesaid life interest of my beloved wife To Have and To Hold to them their heirs and assigns forever.

Third, I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint J. Fisher Grant and Robert W. Oliver both of Pictou aforesaid Merchants the Executors of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all former wills by me made.

In Witness Whereof I have hereto my hand and Seal Subscribed and Set to this my last Will and Testament aforesaid.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Thompson late of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Cordwainer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
