Estate of John Rae late of S. Dalhousie, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

Know all men by these presents that I, John Rae of South Dalhousie, in Pictou Co., Nova Scotia, farmer, being of sound mind do hereby make my last Will and Testament.

I will and devise that all my lawful debts be first paid.

I will devise & bequeath to my wife Bella all my interest & claims in the personal & real Estate of my deceased son William Rae, Except Eighty Dollars which the Executors are to divide equally among my two grandsons John William & Robert Isaac McWilliams.

I also will, devise & bequeath to my wife all the homestead property which contains about one hundred and twenty acres of land, together with all my personal property.

I will devise & bequeath to my daughter Bella Stewart the hundred acres of land in my son Isaac's lot.

I appoint Isaac Ross of Loganville and my son in law William Mc Williams to be my executors.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of two pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Rae late of South Dalhousie, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
