Estate of George McKay late of New Glasgow, Blacksmith, deceased, Testate

Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This is the last Will and Testament of George McKay of New Glasgow, in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Blacksmith.

1st. I give devise and bequeath to my son James R. McKay the House and Lt on which I now reside between the Lands of my son in law Angus Chisholm and the Lot belonging to me on the north formerly occupied by Thomas Graham, as well as all my personal property.

2nd. I give devise and bequeath to my son George Forrest McKay the said Lot and buildings to the north of the Lot above bequeathed to my son James formerly occupied by the said Thomas Graham. Also the Lot on the West side of Provost Street immediately South of the Lot deeded by me to my said son James R. McKay, also the lot and building situated in west New Glasgow formerly occupied by Ann Dollard.

I nominate and appoint George Forrest McKay and James Roderick McKay my sons Sole executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

Dated at New Glasgow Pictou County, March 24th. 1887.
