Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
I Christy McKay of Lovat in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia do make publish and declare this my last will and testament,
First - I give devise and bequeath to my brother Duncan McKay my share in my late father’s property, also the sum of forty dollars in cash
Second - I give devise and bequeath to my brother John McKay all the balance of the money that s left after all expenses are paid after my death.
Third - I give devise and bequeath unto my sisters Margaret McDonald and Mary McKay all the bed clothes and clothing I possess.
Fourth - I give devise and bequeath to my niece Catherine McPherson my Sewing Machine.
I nominate and appoint William MacDonald of Lime Rock Farmer and Duncan G McDonald of Mill Brook Farmer, Executors of this my last Will and Testament.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that on the ninth day of September 1901 probate of the last Will and Testament of said deceased late of Lovat in the County of Pictou Spinster was duly granted by the said Court at Pictou to William McDonald and Duncan G. McDonald the executors named therein.
