Description Deed of George Bigney Sen. of River John, NS

(Handwritten) Deed George Bigney Sen. to David Perin THIS INDENTURE made at River John this twenty fourth day of November in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Two. Between George Bigney (sen.) of River John aforesaid, in the County of Halifax and Province of Nova Scotia, Yeoman of the one Part, and David Perin of River John aforesaid in the County and Province aforesaid, Yeoman of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said George Bigney (sen.) for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Pounds Currency of the said Province of Nova Scotia to him in hand paid by the said David Perin at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Hath Granted, Bargained, Sold, Aliened, Enfeoffed, Released, and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Grant, Bargain, Sell, Alien, Enfeoff, Release, and Confirm, unto the said David Perin his HEIRS, Executors, Administrators, and ASSIGNS forever, A certain lot, piece or parcel of Land situate Lying and being on the West side of the River John, being the said George Bigney's sixth part or share of a Lot of Land (N 90 on the original plane) Granted severally to the said George Bigney, John Joudry, and George Patriquin, and the said Lot, Grant or Parcel of Land is abutted and bounded as follows, viz. Beginning at a Hemlock stump on the west bank of the said river, and southeast angle of David Perin's Farm Lot (N 91 on the original plane), from hence to run southeasterly the courses of said river upstream Five chains more or less to a Fir Tree on the bank of the river and Northeast angle of the aforesaid John Joudry's part of the aforesaid Lot (N 90), thence West on said Joudry's Land Sixty One chains more or less to a Hemlock tree on the East boundary line of George F. Langill's farm lot, thence North on said Langill's Land Four Chains and Twenty two links to a Beech tree on the South boundary line of the aforesaid David Perin's Land, thence East on said land Sixty Chains more or less to the river or place of beginning. Containing Twenty five acres more or less. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Lot of Land and Premises with all the Buildings, and improvements thereon or thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, to him the said David Perin his HEIRS, Executors, Administrators, and ASSIGNS to his and their only use benefit and behoof for EVER. And the said George Bigney (sen.) with the consent of Nancy his Lawful Spouse, (who doth also by these Presents resign, and assign over all her right and title to Dower or other Interest of, in, and to the aforesaid Lot of Land and Premises,) Doth hereby bind himself his HEIRS, Executors, Administrators, and ASSIGNS, against the Lawful Claim of all and every Person or Persons, to warrant and defend the said David Perin his HEIRS, Executors, Administrators, and ASSIGNS in the peaceable and quiet profession of the above conveyed Premises for EVER. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said George Bigney (sen.) and Nancy his Spouse aforesaid, have hereunto severally their names subscribed and Seals affixed the Day and year first above written.
