Estate of William McIntosh late of Garden of Eden, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Know all men by these present that I William McIntosh of Garden of Eden in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, being of Sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
And as to my Estate real and personal to which I shall be entitled at the time of my death, I devise bequeath and dispose of as follows.
First, my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my executors hereinafter mentioned out of my estate as soon after decease as convenient for them to do.
Second. I bequeath to my son John D. McIntosh all the real Estate to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease Subject to the following conditions that is to say that the said John D. McIntosh shall keep and maintain his mother my beloved wife Jesse McIntosh during her natural life in a respectable Christian manner, while in health to provide her with food and clothing and if in Sickness provide for her medical attendance and medicine if required all to the satisfaction of my executors hereinafter named and after that the said John D. McIntosh shall not and he is hereby debarred from transferring or selling the abovenamed Real estate or any part thereof during the natural life of his mother only with her full consent the said real estate consisting of 100 acres of land situated at Garden of Eden aforesaid.
I also bequeath to John D. McIntosh my son after satisfying the foregoing bequests all the residue of estate whatsoever nature making him thereby my residuary legatee.
Lastly, I do nominate and appoint John McIntosh and Finlay McIntosh my Brothers as executors of this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament Subscribed my name and affixed my Seal Feb. 25th. 1892.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a half pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William McIntosh late of Garden of Eden, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 31st. day of December A.D. 1895.
