Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

Know all men by these present that I Robert McIntosh of Garden of Eden County of Pictou and province of Nova Scotia do make and publish this my last will and Testament

First. My will is that all my just debts be paid by my executors hereinafter named.

Second. I devise and bequeath to my son William McIntosh of Garden of Eden County and Province aforesaid the following of which I am seized and possessed at this date, that is to say –
The lot of land I occupy being the in the Garden of Eden, County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia bounded and described as follows, on the north by land owned by Finlay McIntosh, on the west by lands owned by John J. Sutherland and on the south by lands owned by A McG. Cameron and on the east by Crown land

Also all ** property and stock now on the place all furniture and household articles to come unto his possession at my death and at the death of my wife Catherine McIntosh.

Also that I and my wife above mentioned be in possession of half of the house and provided for during the remainder of our lives.

Third. I devise and bequeath to my wife Catherine McIntosh of Garden of Eden County and Province aforesaid that after my death the sum of one hundred Dollars be paid to her by my executors.

Fourth. That after all my expenses and above bequest paid the remainder of my money is to be paid to my son Wm McIntosh of place above mentioned.

Also that the personal expenses of myself and my wife Catherine McIntosh is to be borne by my son William McIntosh of place above mentioned.

I hereby nominate and appoint as executors to this my last Will and Testament Alex J McDonald and John J McIntosh both of Garden of Eden, County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia

All former wills null and void

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 17th. day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Robert McIntosh late of Garden of Eden in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the sixth day of March AD 1913
