Estate of David R. McIntosh late of Sunny Brae, Farmer, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
The last Will and Testament of David R. McIntosh of Sunny Brae in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer.
I David R. McIntosh being of sound mind and memory in taking into consideration the uncertainty of time do make and do declare this my last Will and Testament.
1st. I will and bequeath unto Christy Ann my beloved wife all the Real and personal property I may own at the time of my death in safe keeping until such as John William my son is a sober and good boy and able to take charge to the satisfaction of my wife & Executors, then the whole of my Real and personal property will become the property of John William my son and if the said John William will not accept the of the said property then the property, that is both real and personal property will become the Property Charles Gordon with the understanding that the said Charles Gordon will be a sober and good boy to the satisfaction of my wife and Executors,
And if the said Charles Gordon will not accept it, then the whole property shall e left entirely to my wife’s disposal and whichever of the boys will come into possession of the property, I order that they will provide for my wife everything she reasonably requires to the satisfaction of my executors, as long as she remains with them,
I also order that David my son will get the Colt that the mare will have this summer.
I also order that my children will get such schooling as they were able to give them.
I also order that the girls if they remain at Home till such time as they get married that they would get 1 Cow and four sheep, and also that if any of the boys would go to a trade that they would be helped more or less during the learning of such trade.
I nominate and appoint my Brother Hugh McIntosh and Frederick McDonald Elder all of East River my executors to se that my last Will and Testament executed to the true intention thereof.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one and a half page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of David R. McIntosh Late of Sunny Brae in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 28th. day of December A.D. 1889.
