Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds

Know all men by these presents, that I Daniel R. McDougall of Meiklefield, in the County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, being in good health and of sound, and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

And to my worldly estate and all property, real, personal, or mixed, of which I shall die possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I devise, bequeath and dispose of in the manner following, to wit:

First. My will is that all my just debts, and funeral expenses, shall by my executors hereinafter named be paid out of my estate, as soon after my decease as by them be found convenient.

Then I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret A. Meikle all my real estate, and personal property, and all the rest and residue of my estate, real, personal or mixed, of which I shall die seized or possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, also all money, notes of hand, mortgages, &c.

And lastly I do nominate my beloved wife Margaret A. Meikle and Alexander McDougall of Blue Mountain in the County of Pictou to be the executors to this my last Will and testament.

In testimony whereof I the said Daniel R. McDougall have to this my last will and testament contained on one sheet of paper subscribed my name and affixed my seal this twenty- fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

Signed, Sealed, published and declared by the said Daniel R. McDougall as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who, in the presence of each other and at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
