Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen

I Michael McGuire of Four Mile Brook, in the County of Pictou, Shoemaker, Being at present in an ill state of health but of sound mind and memory reflecting on the uncertainty of life, and that is appointed for all men once to die, Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament.

First of all I commit my Soul unto the hands of the Almighty God who gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian manner, and that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid.

Second - I bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Jane McGuire the farm and premises on which I at present reside with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining, along with all the stock and farming implements ad household furniture that may be thereon at the time of my death.

Thirdly – I appoint as my Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament my Son William McGuire and my said wife Mary Jane McGuire hereby revoking all former wills, Ratifying and confirming this and no other.

In witness whereof I have hereunto Subscribed and Set my hand and Seal this Day Oct. 9, 1883 in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty three.
