Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

Know all men by those present that I William McGregor of Garden of Eden in the County of Pictou & Province of Nova Scotia, do make and publish this my last Will and testament.

First, my will is that all my just debts be paid by my Executors hereinafter named.

Second, I devise and bequeath to Mrs. Annie McIness of Westville my sister, the following property of which I am now seized and possessed, at this date, that is to say the lot of land I now occupy being in the Garden of Eden, County & Province aforesaid, bounded as follows, on the South by lands of the late John McDonald, East by Eden Lake, North by the lands of the late John McGregor, west by Company’s lands. 200 acres in all.

I hereby nominate and appoint as Executors to this my Will and testament, Alex D. Sutherland, Alexander Fraser of Garden of Eden, and County of Pictou.
In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this Sixth day of May 1898.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William McGregor late of Garden of Eden in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
