Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
Know all men by these present, that I Donald McGregor of Chance Harbor, in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, taking into consideration the uncertainty of life and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength and capacity to do so, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First – I order that all my lawful debts be made by my Executor hereinafter named.
Second - I give devise and bequeath unto my nephew Daniel McGregor, son of my sister Sarah McGregor, all my Real and personal property of whatever nature remaining after my lawful debts are paid together with all the appurtenances and privileges thereto belonging. To Have and to Hold Forever, under the following consideration namely That the said Daniel McGregor, son of my sister Sarah McGregor shall at all times after my decease well and truly provide the said Sarah McGregor my sister with comfortable Boarding and Lodging and all other common necessaries of life during the term of her natural life.
Third – I hereby nominate and appoint the said Daniel McGregor, the said Sarah McGregor’s son to be the Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I the said Donald McGregor have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this Twelfth day of December in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and Seventy four.

Signed, Sealed, published and declared by the said Donald McGregor, as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence and at his request have hereto in the presence of each other set our names as Witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Donald McGregor, late of Chance Harbor, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou this 30th day of Janry. A.D. 1882.
