Will of Isaac McGillivray, deceased

Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou

This is the last will and Testament of Isaac Matheson McGillivray of Springville in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Farmer

1. I will and bequeath to William Matheson McGillivray my son all of the fam or homestead on which I always lived lying on the south side of the Cormmony Road excepting the field known as the field below the Road, also two horses namely the black mare and the yellow mare and also two Cows, provided always that until he my said son William Matheson will be twenty four years of age he shall continue to work the farm as twas usually done and that all the members of my family who may wish to live on the farm shall have a home with him and assist him as they always did in my lifetime.

2. I will and bequeath to Georgie Gordon my daughter the field known as the field below toe road and lying on the north side of the old Corymony Road.

3. I will and bequeath to Malcolm Henry my son, Annie Laurie, Georgie Gordon and Jake Roy my daughters and Leslie my son all of the wood situates for turning into limber on my wood lot in equal shares between them and I authorize and empower my daughter Georgie Gordon to see the said wood and divide the proceeds in equal shares between the five above named members of my family mentioned in the third clause of this will.

4. I will and bequeath to Leslie my son all the land contained in the above mentioned wood lot lying north of the Corymony road after the marketable wood is removed also the cow known as the Ferguson Cow.

5. I will and bequeath to Janey Roy my daughter the ** colt.

6. I appoint Duncan Chisholm of Springville in the County of Pictou and Georgie Gordon McGillivray my daughter executor and executrix of this my last Will and Testament.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal subscribed and set this nineteenth day of April A.D. 1905.
