Last Will & Testament of Niel M'Kenzie Carriboo
In the Name of God Amen.
This 30th day of January one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine in the County of Pictou in the Township of Pictou being in health of Body and of sound memory do make this my Last Will and Testament at the same time utterly revoking all former Wills made by me declaring this be my last Will and Testament.
First I give and bequeath to my son George Fifty Acres of Land on the South side of my lot.
To my sons John & William the other fifty of my lot But my wife is to have the management of the crops and cattle as long as she lives which George John & William is to work the farm and assist one another to pay any debts with the crops and cattle that they will rais
To my son Kenneth five shillings To my son David five shillings To my son Alexander five shillings To my daughter Isabella five shillings To my dauther Betsey five shillings To my daughter Martha five shillings To my daughter Margaret five shillings.
At the same time I appoint Alex Fraser of Carriboo of the same County and Alexander M'Kenzie of the same County Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament to which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine.
