Estate of Kenneth McDonald late of Stellarton, deceased, Testate.
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
This is the last Will and Testament of Kenneth McDonald made at Stellarton on the first day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty five.
I Kenneth McDonald being infirm in body but of sound disposing mind and memory do hereby make this my last Will and testament.
First. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Christy, all my household furniture except three chairs and one table, also my silver watch and chain, together with one hundred and fifty dollars of Stock in the Union Store Stellarton.
I also device and bequeath unto her In addition to the foregoing one Cow and Two Hogs now owned by me.
Second. I give & devise unto my beloved son Duncan my Highland plaid to be kept in remembrance of his father.
Third. I give devise and bequeath unto my sons Donald and Kenneth two hundred acres of land owned by me in St. Mary's to be divided by them in two equal parts of one hundred acres to each of them.
Fourth. I give device and bequeath unto my beloved son Hugh all the Masonic emblems and regalia appertaining to me in connection with the order of masonry.
Fifth. I give to my beloved son Alexander I bequeath my large family Bible together with Worchester's Dictionary.
Sixth. I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved son William a sewing machine now in his possession.
Seventh I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved son Charles my Gun together with accoutrements and all my fishing gear including Rods, Baskets and Hooks.
Eighth. to my beloved Daughter Christy I bequeath my religious work call Bible Looking Glass, also a family medical work owned by me.
Ninth. I give devise and bequeath unto my brother Alexander all my wearing apparel.
Tenth. I give and bequeath unto my sister Nancy my gaelic Bible Testament & Psalm Book.
I devise that my body be interred decently in the County at Duff's near the graves of my Grandchildren, the expense of my funeral to be borne by my family.
I hereby appoint my beloved wife, and my son Donald to be executor and executrix of this my last Will and testament and would enjoin them to accomplish the work instructed to them with care, and preserve harmony and good will among the family in the distribution of my effects.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one & a half pages is an exact and literal copy of the last will & testament of Kenneth McDonald, late of Stellarton, in the County of Pictou, deceased, testate which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
