Will of John MacDonald Deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
This is the last will and Testament of me John MacDonald of Ardness in the County of Pictou
Desiring to dispose of my property now that I find myself sane in mind and body I devise that my funeral shall be made in accordance to the Customs in the Country.
I devise that my just and legal Debts shall to be paid by my beloved wife Jannet MacDonald from the proceeds of the personal property hereby bequeathed.
To my beloved wife Jannet I bequeath in Trust all my real estate wherever Situate to have and to hold also all my personal property goods chattels furniture farm implements gold and silver of which I die seized and possessed of for her support and the maintenance and the education of my beloved children during the period of their respective minorities.
It is my desire and will that my beloved wife shall not remarry.
I ordain that before the demise of my beloved wife she shall a deed of my said real and personal property to one of my beloved sons whom she in her good judgement considers the most worthy of the Trust.
I ordain that all the foregoing orders and decrees shall be quickfully carried out and I hereby appoint John C. McDonald and Hugh D. McDonald all of Ardness aforesaid executors of this my last Will and Testament ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal subscribed and set this thirtieth day of November in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of John A McDonald late of Ardness in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 21st. day of March AD 1906.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 21st. day of March AD 1906.
