Will of Hugh McDonald, deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
In the name of God Amen.
I Hugh McDonald of Knoydart in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Farmer being of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby make and publish my last will and Testament hereby revoking all wills or Testamentary dispositions by me.at any time heretofore made
1. I appoint my son Rod Ronald McDonald of Revere in the County of Cape Breton and Province of Nova Scotia Parish Priest as my sole executor of this my last Will and Testament directing him to pay all my just debts, funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as expedient after my death.
2nd. I give devise and bequeath to my beloved son John McDonald all my real Estate and framing implements to be his absolutely but subject to conditions hereinafter made
3rd. I direct that my son John McDonald in consideration of bequest mentioned above shall pay to my daughter Annie McDonald the Sum of one hundred Dollars of lawful money also that she will have a home while she wishes to remain in the household.
4th. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Catherine McDonald my live stock to be hers during her natural life and after her death to go to my son John McDonald above mentioned, and she is to have a decent living also a home while she lives on my estate mentioned in the above bequest.
In Witness Whereof I Hugh McDonald the Testator hereby Set my hand and Seal this sixteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Seven

Signed and declared in the presence of us as witnesses who in the presence of the Testator and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto signed our names for the due execution thereof.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Hugh McDonald late of Knoydart in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 13th. day of April AD 1909.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 13th. day of April AD 1909.
