Will of Enon Macdonald, Deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
I Enon Macdonald of Hopewell in the County of Pictou butcher being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
I give devise and bequeath my lot of land on Foxbrook Road near the Hopewell Cemetery and adjoining the lands of John Collins and John Tait - together with all the rights easements and appurtenances thereto appertaining to my wife Isabella Macdonald with remainder on her death to my son Robert L Macdonald his heirs executors and assigns to and for his and their own absolute use and benefit
I further give devise and bequeath all my Messuage lands, tenements and here dilaments situate lying and being in the village of Hopewell aforesaid and all my household furniture ready money Securities for money goods and chattels and all other my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever situate to my said wife Isabella Macdonald with remainder on her death to my said son Robert L Macdonald and my stepdaughter Katherine Fraser share and share alike their heirs executors and assigns to and for their own absolute use and benefit
Provided however that if my said sons Robert L Macdonald shall pay to the said Katherine Fraser the sum of two hundred dollars the nsaid bequeathed property shall pass solely to my son on the death of my said wife Isabella Macdonald.
I further order and devise and it is my wish that my said step daughter and my daughter Mary M Macdonald shall have a home with their mother as long as they remain unmarried
I also order and direct that my said son Robert L Macdonald shall the right to a home with his mother now to enjoy and use half of the house if at any time he so desire
I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Isabella Macdonald and my said son Robert L Macdonald executors of this my will.
In Witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my hand and Seal this seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven.

Signed sealed and published and declared by the said Enon Macdonald as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in the presence of each other and at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Enon Macdonald late of Hopewell in said County Butcher deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 23rd. day of July AD 1907.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 23rd. day of July AD 1907.
