Will of David McDonald, Deceased

Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds

This is the last will and Testament of me David. McDonald of Seafoam in the County of Pictou Farmer made this seventh day of June in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and six

I revoke all former wills or other testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made and this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament.

I  hereby nominate and appoint my brother Alexander McDonald of Seafoam Farmer and George McConnell of Toney River Farmer to be the executors of this my will.

I direct that all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by my executors as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

I  give devise and bequeath unto my brother Alexander McDonald the western half of my farm, the said farm to be divided from front to rear into two equal portions. Also the sum of one hundred and twenty five Dollars and this shall be in full payment of all demands be may have against my estate

I give to my sister Mrs. Archie Johnston one hundred and twenty five Dollar

I give to my sister Mrs. Martins(?) Gratto one hundred and twenty five dollars

I give to my sister Mrs. George McConnell one hundred and twenty five Dollars

And these legacies to my sisters shall be in full of any claim or demands which they or their husbands my have against my estate

I give to my brother Johnston eastern half of my farm with the house and barn thereon and also all the residue of my estate and old wills whatsoever

In  Witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my hand the day and year first above written

Signed published and declared by the above named David McDonald  Testator as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of David McDonald late of Seafoam in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased  which said will  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 21st. day of July AD 1906.

Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 21st. day of July AD 1906.
