Will of Duncan Balfour, deceased
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
This is the last will and testament of me Duncan Balfour of Westville in the County of Pictou, Province of Nova Scotia, Postmaster.
I revoke any former will or Testamentary dispositions by me at time made and declare this only to be the said copy** my last will and Testament.
I direct all my just debts funeral and Postmaster expenses to be paid and satisfied by my executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
I desire my executors to have my name placed o the monument in my lot in St. Philip's Cemetery when I desire my remains to be interred.
I bequeath to my daughter Anna L. Balfour the sum of one hundred Dollars to be paid to her as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
I bequeath to my wife Marian R. Balfour the organ in my house. The balance of my property both real and personal of whatsoever kind and description and whereto in situated I direct my executors to sell and convert the same into money and all moneys realized from such sales together with what moneys I may have on before or else when I dispose of as follows, that is to say one half to my said wife Marian R. Balfour and one half to my son John M. Balfour share and share alike.
Should my said wife Marian R. Balfour decease me then I direct my executors to pay the portion bequeathed to her to my said son John M. Balfour in addition to the same bequeaths mentioned. I nominate and appoint Robert McDougald of Westville in the County of Pictou, Cashier, and Roderick Fraser of said Westville Druggist, to be the executors of this my Will.

I now publish and declare by the above names Duncan Balfour Postmaster as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time like who at his request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I John D. McLeod of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper written is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Duncan Balfour lat of Westville in the County of Pictou, Postmaster, deceased, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in said Court on the 20th day of June AD 1908.
