Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

The last Will and Testament of Daniel Robertson Pictou County Nova Scotia, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, Blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say, first my Body to be sent home and receive a decent Burial.

I give and bequeath to my sister Jane the sum of One Hundred Dollars, then to my two daughters Margaret and Minney the remainder of my real and personal Property. Equally to be divided between them after all lawful claims and expenses are paid.

I appoint Alexander Robertson and Angus McLane my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereto Set my hand and Seal this twenty ninth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety six.

The above witnesses was now here subscribed by Daniel Robertson the testator in the presence of  each of us and at the same time declared by him to be his last Will and Testament and we at his request Sign our names as attesting witnesses.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one pages, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Daniel Robertson late of Westville in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou this 9th.day of April A.D. 1898.
