Will of Alex McDonald, Deceased

Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds

I Alexander McDonald of Westville in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Miner being of sound and imposing mind and memory do make and publish this as my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills and Testamentary dispositions heretofore at any time by me made.

I do nominate and  appoint my son Robert McDonald of Westville Merchant and Robert McKay of aforesaid Westville Elder to be the executors of my Will

I hereby instruct my aforesaid executors to pay all my just debts funeral and Testamentary expenses as soon as possible after my decease.

I do hereby devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Annabel McDonald all my property real and personal to have the use of the same for life subject to the wisdom and good advice of my executors at her decease what remains of the property to be divided in equal shares among my surviving children.

In Witness Whereof I have set my hand this twelfth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander McDonald  late of Westville in the County of Pictou Miner deceased  which said will  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 25th  day of January AD 1910.
