Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

May 18th. 1883

Medicine Hat  N.W. Territory

Last Will and Testament of Alexander McDonald, Formerly of Avondale Barney's River in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia, Dominion of Canada, and now of Medicine Hat in the abovementioned Territory.

Being in sound  mind and in view of the near Approach of Death Do hereby give and bequeath to my beloved sister Marjory Mary McDonald the property known as mine in the above mentioned place Fronting on Barney's River and joined on the one side by Lands now or formerly owned by William McLean and on the rear by a Lot known as the Meadow Lot and consisting of One Hundred Acres for her and her heirs use and Benefit to the Total Exclusion of all other Heirs for ever.

Territory, formerly of Avondale County of Pictou, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
