In the name of God, Amen

I Alexander McDonald of Glengary in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Farmer at present in good bodily health and in full and unimpaired possession of all my mental faculties and considering the mortality of the body do make and ordain this is my last will and testament

First and principally I commend my soul to God who gave it, and my body to Christian burial manner and touching such worldly estate with which I have been blessed I give devise and bequeath in manner and form following that is to say.

To my dearly beloved wife Christy McDonald I give devise and bequeath all my real estate and personal property of whatever nature and kind and wheresoever found for her sole use and benefit forever

I hereby nominate appoint my friends John McKay of Lansdown and Daniel W McDonald of Lorne joint executors of this my last Will and testament, and I hereby cancel annul and revoke all  and every former will by me made if none be found and do declare this to be my last will and Testament.

In Witness Whereof I the Testator have hereunto subscribed my name and set my Seal this thirtieth day of April A.D., 1890.

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexander McDonald  late of Glengary in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased  which said will  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 9th  day of February AD 1911.
