Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

This is the last Will and Testament of me Abram McDonald of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia Plumber

I give and bequeath whatever property I am possessed of (real and personal) to my wife Mary MacDonald for her use, and that of my unmarried daughters Mary Fraser and Mabel and I direct that should my Children Mary Fraser and Mabel marry or die, before the death of my wife ten I devise that the whole of my property (real and personal) go to my wife for her Sole use forever.

Provided however that in Case my wife should die before my Children Mary Fraser and Mabel die or marry, then it should revert to them, the said Mary Fraser and Mabel to be used by them, and in the vent of their marrying (their mother being deceased) I direct that the property be equally divided between my children Ada now Mrs. Parker, Mary Fraser, Jessie now Mrs. McNeil and Mabel share and share alike.

And I appoint my wife Mary MacDonald and Donald MacDonald (Blacksmith) Pictou, executors of this my  last Will and Testament and hereby revoke all former wills made by me.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Abram MacDonald, late of New Glasgow, (words have been scratched out and the latter added and initialed) in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.

Given under my hand at Pictou, this 9th day of March A.D. 1893.
