Estate of Alexander McCulloch, late of Blue Mountain, Farmer, deceased, Testate

Certified Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

In the name of God, Amen.

I, Alexander McCulloch of Blue Mountain in the County of Pictou, and province of Nova Scotia being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and understanding, and knowing that it is appointed to all men to die, do hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills and dispositions heretofore made by me at any time.

First. I resign my soul unto the hands of Almighty God and my body I commit to the earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my executors hereinafter named.

Second. I order that all my outstanding debts, and my funeral expenses be paid.

Third. I give and devise to my son James W. McCulloch all the real Estate I am possessed of at Mieklefield, said Real Estate being a lot of land adjoining the lands conveyed by me on a former occasion by Deed, to the said James W. McCulloch.

Fourth. It is further my will that my wife Christy be residuary legatee to all remaining property, Real  or personal, and all money deposited in Banks, or otherwise, and all goods, and chattels or whatever I may be possessed of at the time of my death.

Lastly, I appoint and constitute my daughter, the wife of John P. Hingley to be my Executrix.

In witness whereof I have hereto Set my hand Seal this twenty first day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and ninety eight.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Alexr. McCulloch, late of Blue Mountain, in the County of Pictou, Farmer, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
