Will of Thomas Ross, deceased
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds
Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Ross of West River Station in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia Farmer being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make an ordained this my last will and Testament.
Touching such worldly goods and property of which I die possessed I give devise and bequeath in manor and form following viz.
To my son Kenneth Ross I give devise and bequeath the farm property on which I now reside known as the homestead together with one half of the stock of cattle horses and sheep one half of the farming implements all the household furniture and two hundred dollars cash in consideration of which I enjoin that he shall direct a suitable monument in memory of his parents.
To my son Lester Ross I give devise and bequeath the farm property known as the Gillent Sutherland farm together with the other one half of my stock cattle horses and sheep the other one half of my farming implements and three hundred Dollars in cash, the division of stock and farm implements to be of equal value to each.
To my son William Ross at present of California I give devise and bequeath two hundred Dollars.
To my son Neil Ross at present of California I give devise and bequeath two hundred Dollars.
To my son Thomas Ross at present of Wentworth I give devise and bequeath two hundred Dollars.
To my daughter Margaret Baillie I give devise and bequeath twenty Dollars.
To my daughter Catherine Real I give devise and bequeath twenty Dollars.
To my daughter Georgina Brown I give devise and bequeath twenty Dollars.
I hereby nominate and appoint Kenneth McKenzie of Gairloch and Robert Ross of West River Station joint executors of this my last will and Testament and do declare this to be my last will and Testament hereby revoking and annulling all former ones if any exist.
In witness whereof I the testator have hereunto subscribed my name and set my seal in presence of these witnesses present together on this nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight,

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby that on the 29th. day of September AD 1908 certify that the last Will and Testament of Thomas Ross late of West River Station in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou
