Will of Myra McKenzie,
Certified Copy of Will for Reg of Deeds Pictou
Know all men by these present that I Myra McKenzie of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, Widow of the late John W. McKenzie being of sound discerning mind and memory make and declare this my Last Will and Testament.
After paying all my lawful debts and funeral and expenses within a reasonable time say one year at the discretion of my executor, I direct my executor to sell all my real and personal property that I may be possessed of at the time of my death and to divide the proceeds in the proportion as follows
First. To my niece Sarah Daniels of Shandona in the State of Pennsylvania U.S.A. five hundred dollars.
Second. To my sister Jessie Daniels of the same place three hundred dollars.
Third. To my sister Charlotte McDonald McLellan’s Brook Pictou County, N.S. fifty dollars.
4th. To Mrs. George Helden Providence R.I. fifty dollars.
5th. To my niece Mrs. J.W. Fraser McLellan’s Brook Pictou County two hundred dollars.
6th. To Mrs. W. B. Alley Truro Nova Scotia fifty dollars.
7th. To Mary McKenzie Truro Nova Scotia two hundred dollars.
8th. To Rebecca Smith now of New Glasgow N.S. fifty dollars.
Should my estate not realize an amount support to pay the above legacies I wish and direct my executor to Pay one in proportion to the amount before named.
And should I die before I erect a stone in my lot in Riverside Cemetery I wish my executor to have one erected both to cost more than one hundred dollars this to be provided for before dividing my estate.
I appoint my friend John C. Reid of New Glasgow my sole executors of this my last Will and Testament.
Dated at New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Province of Nova Scotia this third day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four 1904

McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Myra McKenzie late of New Glasgow in the County of Pictou Widow deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 26th. day of April AD 1905.
