Estate of John Logan, late of Logan's Tannery, Tanner, deceased, Testate
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I, John Logan of Logan's Tannery in the County of Pictou, Tanner, do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
I appoint my beloved wife Margaret Logan Sole Executrix and trustee of this my last Will and Testament.
I give and devise to my daughter Mary E. McDonald the wife of James Robert McDonald all the four lots of land with appurtenances formerly owned by them and by them conveyed to me by a deed bearing date the 18th. day of April A.D. 1898, and in said Deed fully described, for and during the term of her natural life and should said husband survive her then to him for the term of his natural life and at the death of both of them the said the said lands to be divided between the children of said Mary E. McDonald then living share and share alike.
All the residue ad remainder of my property real and personal of every nature and kind whatsoever and wheresoever situate I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret Logan absolutely, To Have and To Hold the same to her the said Margaret Logan for her heirs and assigns forever.
And I will and direct that the provisions hereinbefore made for my said wife shall be or ban to any claim by her for dower or otherwise in the lands hereinbefore devised to my said daughter.
In witness whereof I the said John Logan the testator have to this my last last Set my hand this day of April A.D. 1898.
Signed by the said testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time, who at his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

In the Court of Probate of Wills
I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of John Logan late of Logans's Tannery in the County of Pictou, Tanner, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 29th day of June A.D. 1898.
