Will of Mary Lochead, Deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
Know all men by these presents that I Mary Lochead of Middle River in the County of Pictou Spinster being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament
And as to my worldly estate and all my property real or personal of which I may die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to wit -
First, My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executors hereinafter named be paid as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient.
Second, I give and devise and bequeath to my nephew William Conn of said Middle River Yeoman all my right title and interest in certain lot of land situate at said Middle River and conveyed to me by deed of David Lochead deceased dated the twenty eight day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine and duly registered in the Office of the Register of Deeds at Pictou Bok 5 and pages 581, 582 and 583 as referenced therewith and appears wilt all and singular the houses buildings or appurtenances thereof belonging or appertaining as well as all the personal property of whatever nature of which I may die possessed To Have and To Hold the same to him the said William Conn his heirs and assigns forever.
And lastly I do nominate and appoint my nephew James Conn of said Middle River brother of the said William Conn to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In Testimony Whereof I the said Mary Lochead have to this my last Will and testament subscribed my name and affixed my seal this twenty fifth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one

Signed, sealed published and declared by the said Mary Lochead as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. (The same having been first read and explained to said Mary Lochead)

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Mary Lochead late of Middle River in the County of Pictou Spinster deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 19th day of March AD 1910.
Witness my hand at Pictou aforesaid this 19th. day of March AD 1910.
