Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I James Little make this last Will and Testament
I appoint S. H. Holmes and Hugh R. Little my Executors.
I give and bequeath the house I live in in Pictou, to my beloved wife Catherine and my daughters Ovetta and Millie to be enjoyed by them jointly while they live and remain unmarried, but should any of them marry then their interest in the house shall cease and revert to those ot the one remaining unmarried.
After the death or marriage of them my Said wife and daughters then this Said house shall become the property of all my surviving heirs as if I had died intestate.
I direct that my executors convert all my other property real and personal into Cash at their discretion and invest the same in the Dominion Savings Bank, or Government or Municipal Bonds, or Mortgage on Real Estate and the interest accruing for the same shall be applied to the maintenance and support of my said wife and daughters, together with such part of the principal as my executors may deem requisite and that the principal shall become the property of my said wife and daughters in three equal shares, to be given to them on arriving at the ages of twenty one years.
I give the Gold watch to my Grandson Alexander Little of St. John when he becomes twenty one years of age.
I give my interest in the Pictou Iron mines to Hugh R. Little my son.
Witness my hand and Seal this 4th. day of Feby. A.D. 1887.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of James Little, late of Pictou, in the County of Pictou, Shipbuilder, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
Given under my hand at Pictou, this 24th day of July A.D. 1889.
