Internal Arrangements
The inside to laid off as shown on drawings the cells to be built of solid wood 6 inch their and lined with 1 1/2 grove and tongue spruce. The whole to be well lotter And spiked together. The doors of cells to be formed of 3 inch spruce and filled with 1 ½ a flooring the ceilings to be filled solid. The depth of the joist and covered with spruce flooring and to be well nailed with 4 inch cut nails. The keepers’ end of the building to be laid off as shown on the drawings and finished with studding lathing and 2 coats of plastering . The doors in the keeper rooms to formed 2 panel of good pine lumber and sink mouldings, wall skirting and finishing to be put up plain of good seasoned pine.
Stairs
Stairs to be built as shown on the drawings treads to be 1 1/4 inch spruce and lifts to be 1 inch pine on good strong strings.
Flooring
The whole of the grooved floors to be laid with 1 ¼ Groove and tongue spruce laid with close joints well nailed suitable nails .Second flat to be laid with and left unfinished in the meantime.
Painting
The whole of the outside wood work with the exception of roof to have two coats of paint all the wood work in the keeper rooms to have also two coats of paint. Drawings with the best selected Brier laid in cement. The joints to be flushed and ruled, seven inch stone pipe Stones to be inserted in the flues in such position as may hereafter be decided.
Stone Pillars
Three stone pillars to be built to support such summer of good solid stone and mortar eighteen inch spruce.
Carpenter Work
The materials required for the framing and finishing of the walls for batons roof and to be of the best quality of their several kinds. The frame to be 40 feet by 33 feet and 15 foot post and put up in a faithful and workman like manner. All floor joists to have 2 feet –from center to center, and studs 16 inch to??? Lathering.
Covering
The walls and roof to be first covered with good sound 1” Hemlock Boards and well nailed to all the bearings, the walls to be their covered with good sawed Pine shingles and the roof to be covered with the best quality of split pine and made perfectly water proof. Sill boards and corner boards with projections to be finished with the best quality of Pine lumber.
Doors and windows.
The outside doors to be 6 feet by 2 1” framed 4 panels lead and floor and mounted on the back , Hung with proper hinges and locks, The materials to be used to be best quality of pine .13 windows of 12 lights to be finished of the above materials and placed in the building .
The probable cost of this Building as described by plans and the features will be about $1000.00
