Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

 

I Catherine Kirk of Bailey’s Brook Lismore in the County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia Widow, being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and publish this is my last Will and Testament as follows,

 

 I devise and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Barbara Kirk her heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns forever, all my real and personal property estate whatsoever or wheresoever situate or being subject to the payment of my just debts, and I appoint my said daughter Barbara and my son Adam Kirk executors hereof -

 

In witness whereof I the said Catherine Kirk have hereunto my hand and Seal Subscribed and set this Fourth day of September A.D. 1875.

Signed Sealed published pronounced and declared by  the said Catherine Kirk the testator, as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in the presence of the testator at her request and in the presence of each other together and at the same time have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Catherine Kirk late of Lismore in the County of Pictou, Widow, deceased, Testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
