This indenture made this second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty between Elizabeth Cameron and Murdock McKenzie, both of Mount Thom county of Halifax and province of Nova Scotia of the one part; and James Fraser Junior of the aforesaid place _ of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Elizabeth Cameron and Murdock McKenzie for and in consideration of the _ of four pounds of good and lawful money of the province of Nova Scotia aforesaid, by the said James Fraser to them in hand paid, at or before the unsealing or delivery of these presents; there receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged; they the said Elizabeth Cameron and Murdock McKenzie have this day bargained, sold, enfoffed, released, remised, granted, and confirmed, and by the presents do bargain, sell, enfoff, release, remise, grant, and confirm unto the said James Fraser Junior his heirs and assigns forever, a certain tract or lot of land, situate lying and being on the road from Mount Thom aforesaid to Salmon River, abutted and bounded as follows, beginning on the north western angle of land granted to Catherine. _ on the southern side the above mentioned road, then to run south along the western side line of said lands seventy five chains to land granted Joseph Fielding, thence west fourteen chains and north seventy two chains along the north and east boundary line of said Fielding’s land to the margin of said road, then east by the same to the place of beginning, containing one hundred acres of land more or less, to have and to hold the aid described premises, with the revision and revisions, rents, issues, profits, and _ there belonging or in any way of pertaining, together with all buildings, houses, and outhouses, with all the timber and timber trees, woods and under woods, water and water courses which may be found thereon; unto the said James Fraser Junior his heirs and assigns forever for his and there proper use, profit, benefit and behoof; furthermore the said Elizabeth Cameron and Murdock McKenzie doth by these presents, covenant and agree to and with the said James Fraser Junior, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in manner and form following _ that they the said Elizabeth Cameron and Murdock McKenzie, do for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns do by these presents for ever quit claim of the above described premises together with all the appurtenances, unto the said James Fraser Junior, his heirs and assigns forever also that they the said Elizabeth Cameron and Murdock McKenzie are vested with good and lawful authority of said lands in fee simple and that they shall the said lands and premises forever defend the unto the said James Fraser Junior, his heirs, assigns against the lawful claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same.
