Will of Donald Keith, deceased

 

Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds 

 

I Donald Keith of Stellarton in the County of Pictou being infirm of body but of sound disposing mind and memory do hereby make and publish this my last will and Testament

 

First – I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Annie Keith during her natural life all the property real and personal of which I may have in my possession at my death, the real Estate to include that at Little Harbour together with that at Stellarton, the personal property of whatever kind is all included in the foregoing bequest.

 

I devise and order that at the death of my wife my executors shall sell and dispose of all the property and after paying funeral expenses and my legal debts due by the Estate I devise that the residue of the Estate be disposed of in the following manner to the members of my family.

 

I give devise and bequeath unto my family Janet Keith, Margaret Keith, Robert Keith and Jas. D. Keith and Bella Keith the residue of my Estate after the death of my wife in equal parts.

 

I devise and order that if my daughter Bella is unmarried at her mother’s death in addition to her share of my Estate she is to have the homestead in Stellarton as her own property unconditionally.

 

I order and appoint my sons Robert Keith and James D. Keith executors of this my last Will and Testament.

 

Dated at Stellarton this 9th November in the year 1903.

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of Donald Keith late of Stellarton in the County of Pictou Merchant deceased  which said will  was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the twenty seventh day of January AD 1905 

 

Witness my hand at Pictou this 27th. day of January AD 1905.
