Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds

 

In the name of God Amen.

 

I, Thomas Price Jones, Yeoman, of West New Glasgow County of Pictou, and Province of Nova Scotia, being of sound mind and memory Do make and publish this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time made.

 

I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth all my personal property, Real Estate, Mortgages, Consignments, and Bonds as long as she lives, and at her Demise all the property is to go to three daughters with the exception of one hundred dollars to be given to John if he is kind and affectionate to his mother and sisters.

 

Secondly. I give and bequeath to Presbyterian Church at Sunny Brae the Mortgage that I now hold of Angus McKinnon’s Farm up there, for their use and benefit for ever after the death of Mr. & Mrs. McKinnon. 

 

I nominate and appoint John McGillivray Attorney and Alexander Grant Merchant New Glasgow N.S. Executors & Trustees of this my said last Will and Testament. Dated at New Glasgow this Eighth, 8, Day of April in the year of our Lord 1898.
