Will of William G. Johnston, deceased
Certified Copy for Reg of Deeds
I William G. Johnston of McLellan’s Brook in the County of Pictou Farmer do publish and declare this my last will and testament
First – I give to my son John L Johnston my red horse and my silver watch
Second – I give devise and bequeath to James H and George A Johnston the farm ** owned by one peter C Fraser and adjoining the farm on which I now reside at McLellan’s Brook
Third – I give bequeath and devise to Jessie A Johnston my sons wife one half of the amount of both house and barn at Sunny Brae if sold, and the other half of amount of both house and barn to my son James H Johnston, and George A Johnston in equal shares
Fourth – I also give bequeath and devise the remainder of my estate real and personal top my wife Mary Johnston and consisting of **, book, debts mortgages and cash and also the farm situated at McLellan’s Brook in said County of Pictou and on which I now reside with all the buildings and household furniture during her lifetime and so long as she remains unmarried but after her death or if she remarries then to do the ** the property to my son John L Johnston, any of my family that may be living and occupying the homestead on which I now is to get sufficient wood of said Peter C Fraser’s place now owned by me
I do appoint and nominate my son William D Johnston and John Urquhart of the County of Pictou to be executors.
In testimony whereof I have herewith set my hand and Seal and declared this to be my last will and Testament in presence of the witnesses herein this 5th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three

I John D. McLeod Registrar of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper writing is a true copy of the last Will and Testament of William G Johnston late of McLellan’s Brook in the County of Pictou Farmer deceased which said will was duly admitted to Probate in said Court at Pictou on the 25th day of June 1903.
Witness my hand at Pictou this 25th. day of June 1903.
