Description John Owen account settlement

"I do hereby certify that I have this day settled with Mr.'s John & James Patterson, on behalf of James Kidston and the late firm of James & Alexander Kidston. And that this may serve as a receipt in full of all demands, except seven thousand feet of 2 inch plank board measure, which James Patterson has this day given his obligation for. 

Dated in Pictou the 19th March 1799.
