Will of Christopher Brown Deceased
Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
I Christopher Brown of River John in the County of Pictou and Province of Nova Scotia being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament.
I constitute and appoint Messrs. William McDonald and C. Lawson Gordon both of River John executors of this my Will.
I give and bequeath all my real and personal and mixed of which I may die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my demise to my son Alexander A. Brown to have to hold his heirs and assigns forever. This git shall include the Shore lot - on Water Street River John and the residue as thereon in which I at present live as well as the Gratto lot on the Barren Road, provides always that should my son Isaac Brown return to River John in sound body and mind he shall receive the Gratto lot as his own.
And further, my expenses will and **** is owed, I do hereby order and approve that if any difference, dispute or controversy shall arise or be raised concerning any matter in this my will, that ** no suit or suits in law or equity shall be brought concerning the same but the same on all be referred wholly to the award and determination of my friends the executors aforesaid and what they shall determine therein shall be binding and non elusive to all and every person and persons therein concerned.
In witness whereof I the said Christopher Brown have to this my last Will and testament on this one ** of ** submitted my name this eighth day of August 1903.

The above instrument of one sheet was at this date thereof declared to us by the Testator Christopher Brown to be his last will and Testament and he then acknowledged with each of us that be executed and Sealed and we at his request and in the presence of each other sign our names as witnesses.

I John D. McLeod of said Court do hereby certify that the foregoing paper written is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of Christopher Brown late of River John, in the County of Pictou, deceased, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in said Court on the 3rd day of August AD 1911.
