Copy of Will for the Registrar of Deeds
In the name of God Amen
I William Beaton of Pleasant Valley in the County of Pictou and province of Nova Scotia, Yeoman, being of sound mind and memory at the present time, and considering the uncertainty of human life, do hereby make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say
First. I earnestly recommend my soul to God who gave it to my Body I commit to the earth to be buried in such decent manner as my executor hereafter mentioned shall think fit
. Regarding my worldly property - I give grant and bequeath all my property, possessions and everything which I own and dispossessed of to my sister Mary bell Beaton for her sole use and benefit, and I appoint my friends Adam MacKenzie of Pleasant Valley, Pictou County, Nova Scotia and Simon McLeod Jr. of Pleasant Valley, Pictou County, Nova Scotia the executors of this my said last Will and Testament, thereby revoking and making null and void all wills and testaments by me made heretofore, -
In witness whereof I have hereto my hand and this fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and ninety.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument consisting of one page, is an exact and literal copy of the last Will and Testament of William Beaton late of Pleasant Valley in the County of Pictou, Yeoman, deceased, testate, which has been duly filed and admitted to Probate in accordance with the practice of the Court.
